Fall for many is the perfect season. The season’s activities are well underway in Louisiana. Football games on the weekend, pep rallies welcome classmates from decades ago, barbecue grills sizzling at tailgate parties, and classes resume for students of all ages. Fall also shepherds in a time of gathering for most. End of the year holiday gatherings play a large role in the fine traditions of Southern hospitality. Now is the time when celebrations and parties for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are planned. End of the year gatherings is a time-honored tradition for corporate America. The act of showing appreciation to the people who make your business run plays an important role in morale and productivity. Make the most of the holidays with the help of the experienced staff and vendors at Le Pavilion’s private event venues in Lafayette, LA. Halloween gatherings are a wonderful way to distribute information and honors to employees that have worked hard all year. Consider kicking off the Fall holiday season with an employee trick or treat held away from the office. As employees enter the event venue they are given a tote bag (trick or treat sack) and able to mingle with other guests at stations representing all facets of the business where they are given special treats to take home with them. Costumes optional! Food and feasting as celebration always come to mind with Thanksgiving. A harvest-themed event highlighting the bounty of goods or services produced by your employees throughout the year is a wonderful way to gather and celebrate achievements. Whether you offer turkey with all the trimmings or a Cajun Thanksgiving with a crab, and shrimp boil, the idea is to celebrate your business achievements and blessings of the last year. Christmas, Kwanza, and Hanukah are holidays that religious disciplines observe. Although the reasons for celebrations vary with each discipline, acknowledgment and sharing in December is a Southern business tradition. Plan a holiday soiree that includes cocktails, desserts that benefits a deserving non-profit that would allow employees to participate in giving back to the community where they live, work, and play. With a little ingenuity and planning, a heartfelt holiday happening such as a year-end signature corporate event could become a reason your business is sought by prospective customers. Ringing in the New Year is yet another reason to celebrate at the end of the year. Whether having a mid-day family-friendly event or midnight champagne toasting welcome to 2019, use an event venue that can accommodate your special celebration with friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of parking. I love that you talked about giving employees a tooth bag or a trick-or-treat sac that they can receive at the event venue that you are booking for the holiday or Halloween season. I think that is a great idea now that summer is almost over and that season is almost coming. So business owners can consider booking a corporate party venue first and then making a program and thinking about gifts or giveaways they can provide to people who are attending. And it can even be applicable if you also invite your investors or partners to join the party, because it can probably make your relationship with them better by having fun and enjoying the company of each other.
